As an electronics manufacturer and leader in innovative technology, Toshiba recently reported to have developed a liquid crystal display panel OCB (Optically Compensated Bend) which will cater for 3D glasses.
Glasses are manufactured with sophisticated OCB panel was expected to offer high-speed response time, wide angle of view and optimized contrast.
Toshiba developed a liquid crystal panel for 3D glasses “spectacles that have the ability to adopt the panel opening and closing of high-speed shutter, resulting in a significant reduction in crosstalk 3D,” explained the official of Toshiba in a statement.
“In addition, a wide angle of view which provides vivid 3D images on the wide field of view, like in movie theaters and living rooms.”
According to Toshiba, these sunglasses will allow users to view high-quality 3D image with a “minimal fatigue” when watching TV, movies or playing games for long periods.
